We have helped many organisations explore and implement VR training solutions into their organisation. Our team can advise on what hardware to use, and what kind of VR solutions would be relevant to your needs and then help you test and implement those VR solutions.
VR is not the answer for all learning needs/situations and we will tell you when it isn’t. However, for a lot of the time it is and VR can make a huge impact in a number of ways from improving accessibility and engagement in training to linking up remote workers with other team members in a much more human way.
Working with Stonegate (the largest pub chain in the UK with 4500 sites) we helped their training function deliver coaching skills remotely in VR to their management teams.
As part of this project, we also trained some of their own L&D department in VR so we were able to run parallel courses alongside our own trainers to deliver this important development across their cohorts.
Their in-house trainers really enjoyed the virtual reality experience and vastly preferred it over Teams and Zoom formats.
Stonegate partnered with Virtual Reality Experiences to deliver some very different, very engaging coaching and also mentoring sessions. The VR tool ensures the training is extremely immersive, varied and absorbing; the feedback from our attendees was 100% positive it felt like we had been together face to face all day’ which, in the times of pandemic, was very welcome feedback.
We particularly liked the video, whiteboard, ‘any size’ handouts, and the surroundings options.
VRE were brilliant to work with and happy to take suggestions on additional content or changes so that it worked for us.
We plan to use VR more in the future… we are already being asked ‘what next?!’
